Is there a joining fee when taking up a membership?
No, there is no admin joining fee and no tie in periods with our memberships.
Is your gym busy?
Gyms in general are typically busiest in the evening and mid mornings on weekends.
When I join the gym will I be given a training programme to follow?
During the process of joining you will be offered both an induction and a training program to help attain your goals. We also offer a free PT session with a choice of PT’s and a free squash / racketball lesson with our resident professional.
How many different squash and racketball leagues are there?
There are approximately 12 squash leagues and 5 racketball leagues. We also have 7 teams that play in Harrogate and North Yorkshire leagues.
What are your opening times?
The club is open
Monday- Friday 06:30 – 21:00
Saturday & Sunday 08:00 – 20:00
The bar is often open later!
What are the prices of your classes?
Classes currently range from £5.00 on a pay as you go basis for non members. Studio classes are free for full access members. Rackets members can access the gym or studio classes for £3.00.
Are classes free for members?
Yes. Members with full gym and studio access can attend a range of studio classes for free, booked in advance. Rackets members need to pay £3.00 per class.
How much is it to hire your studio?
From £15- £20 per hour for private use.
How old do you have to be to join squash and gym?
Squash / racketball is totally free for under 11’s and to use the gym you have to be 14 years old.
If I am not a member, can I book a squash court?
Guests can book off peak courts for £5.00 per person for 40 minutes. Equipment included. Call (01423) 536464 to book.
How much is it to use the gym as a one off?
£7.50 per session
